Chicago is one of the greatest sports towns in the country with two baseball teams ... major football ... basketball ... hockey ... plus many other sports teams in major and minor leagues.
For many people they just can't get enough sports information. Let's give it to them in the form of an adult sports on-line site similar to YOUR SEASON.COM
Right now interest is high in both the Cubs and Sox .... (Very soon Bears and Bulls too). Chicago wants to read and talk -online- about these teams.... And submit comments, photos and suggestions to players and coaches. We should give it too them.
Yes the Sun Times.com has a sports section...... But I believe a stand-alone site could be a real draw - for both readers and advertisers.There really aren't many places where the "average joe" can express his feelings and opinions ....... except radio call in shows which are hard to get through during busy times.
Right now the RACE FOR THE WORLD SERIES is hot ..... Soon the emphasis will be on the BEARS. Let's give Chicago a voice in the sports world .... and make the voice a NEW SUN TIMES PRODUCT.
